Drawing on our experience, we tried to create a concept that seeks something between a house and an apartment—a synergy/combination of the advantages of both. A human scale aligned with actual human needs resulted in the design of rational, functional, compact, and energy-efficient house-apartments.
The average size of a residential unit is 68 m². The repetition of forms gave way to diversity. In the second stage of the development, 27 residential units were built. Each unit has an independent entrance, a garage space, and a garden.
A key element of the urban layout of the Nowy Strzeszyn estate became the dominant building. It is this dominant that primarily distinguishes the second stage of the project from the others. Taller than the surrounding buildings and featuring an unconventional, somewhat surprising shape, it functionally diversifies the entire complex. The dominant contains both residential and service functions. In the future, it may become another meeting place for the residents.
